As in … “<gasp><gasp> I <gasp> think <gasp> my heart <gasp> is going to <gasp> spode!”

It is that feeling when you are pushing your body to the red line that in the back of your mind you really wonder if your body can take it or continue.  I love that feeling.  I am not sure why, but just the idea that you have pushed yourself to the brink.  You have pushed further than you though you could. 

I went for a run the other day and found some hills to sprint up.  Running hard and fast to the point that your pounding heartbeat drowns out the sound of your iPod, getting to the top with your lungs burning, sweat pouring into your eyes, muscles burning and the feeling that at any minute you could … splode.
